Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Characate FC's Michael Ballack started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Michael Ballack kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. Clemente Rudolfo was out of position in the 8 minute of play, and Tiago Cosme capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Tiago Cosme really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. In the 12th minute, Agua Santa's Tiago Cosme dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Agua Santa's Tomé Mota played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Celestino Iratze in the 15th minute of play. Tiago Cosme received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Clemente Rudolfo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Characate FC's Clemente Rudolfo got control of the ball when Enrique Abreu tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 25th match minute, Agua Santa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tiago Cosme to maneuver through the defense. Rafael Cruz kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. 37 minutes into the match, Characate FC's goal looked a bit too open when Tiago Cosme came free, but Clemente Rudolfo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Enrique Abreu could shoot a difficult shot in the 44th minute, which Clemente Rudolfo however easily saved by the left post. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Frank Rosa to make the kick off. 57 minutes into the match, Characate FC's goal looked a bit too open when Tiago Cosme came free, but Clemente Rudolfo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tomé Mota was out of position in the 59 minute of play, and Michael Ballack capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Michael Ballack really showed his touch with that goal: 3-1. Agua Santa's William Luz was substituted for Fábio Lopez. Clemente Rudolfo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Enrique Abreu in the 64th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tiago Cosme in the 65th minute of play forced Characate FC's goalkeeper Clemente Rudolfo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 71 minutes into the game, Enrique Abreu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Clemente Rudolfo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 75 played minutes Agua Santa got a freekick which was hit by Jânio Arantes. After 76 minutes, Eugênio Monteiro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Agua Santa and the Characate FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Eugênio Monteiro hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. The long shot by Cristian Unai in the 77th minute really tested Tomé Mota's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. 79 minutes into the game, Agua Santa's Frank Rosa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Clemente Rudolfo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-1. Cristian Unai was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 85 minutes into the match. After 85 played minutes Characate FC got a freekick which was hit by Cristian Unai. Clemente Rudolfo came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by Agua Santa's Eugênio Monteiro. But to his dismay, Eugênio Monteiro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-1. In the 89th minute of the match Rafael Cruz shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Clemente Rudolfo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Jânio Arantes's late challenge caught a Characate FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jânio Arantes helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Agua Santa's Jânio Arantes got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Agua Santa walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
