Gaudencio Richie showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcelo Eger in the 4th minute of the match. Doni Seco was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Everardo Calvino showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 7 minute of play. In the 10th match minute, Castanheiro SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcelo Eger to maneuver through the defense. Edgardo Nardo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 26th match minute, ZORZAL01 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Julian Iratzeder to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice moves Edgardo Nardo could shoot a difficult shot in the 31st minute, which Doni Seco however easily saved by the left post. Gaudencio Richie showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mauro Sarmento, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Paolo Gotzon during the 34th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Castanheiro SC were awarded a corner in the 37th minute after ZORZAL01's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Marcelo Eger took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Marcelo Eger got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Gaudencio Richie quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Marcelo Eger made the kick off in the second half. Timoteo Dolcet hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Gaudencio Richie took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mauro Sarmento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 61st minute Telmo da Fonseca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gaudencio Richie saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. ZORZAL01's Abelardo Vimaro was substituted for Benjamin Firmo. 73 minutes into the game, Mauro Sarmento recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Gaudencio Richie. Mauro Sarmento showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Marcelo Eger charged in rather forcefully in the 82nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marcelo Eger the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of ZORZAL01 booed when Castanheiro SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcelo Eger didn't get a good kick on the ball. 94 minutes into the game, Luisinho Seco was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Castanheiro SC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ZORZAL01 the free kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mauro Sarmento in the 95th minute of play forced ZORZAL01's goalkeeper Gaudencio Richie to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 95th minute Mauro Sarmento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gaudencio Richie saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Castanheiro SC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
