The audience thought a goal was coming when Marcelo Eger got free with Leopoldo Cerezo in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mauro Sarmento kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. After 13 played minutes 100 Chance got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Gomes. Marco Bezerra's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Leopoldo Cerezo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. Leopoldo Cerezo was out of position in the 20 minute of play, and Ronaldo Pinho capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ronaldo Pinho really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ulisses Senna during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ulisses Senna kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Leopoldo Cerezo was out of position in the 38 minute of play, and Marcelo Eger capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Marcelo Eger really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Filipe Meneses managed to get in a good position for a shot. 100 Chance's supporters rose to their feet, but Filipe Meneses was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Doni Seco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some careless play in the Castanheiro SC defense, Filipe Meneses kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Doni Seco. The Castanheiro SC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Doni Seco should have stopped the shot. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

With a little luck, Castanheiro SC's Doni Seco got control of the ball when Filipe Meneses tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Filipe Meneses got free with Doni Seco in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 60th minute Júnior Alagoano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leopoldo Cerezo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leopoldo Cerezo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mauro Sarmento went, in the 62nd minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. Leopoldo Cerezo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Júnior Alagoano, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. A collision led to 100 Chance getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Vicente Nogueira hit a great ball. Leopoldo Cerezo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marcelo Eger went, in the 69th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-1 was the resulting score. When Júnior Alagoano fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Castanheiro SC's protests and gave Júnior Alagoano a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of 100 Chance booed when Castanheiro SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Júnior Alagoano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Leopoldo Cerezo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Júnior Alagoano in the 75th minute of play. In the 78th minute, Telmo da Fonseca left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Castanheiro SC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-1. Júnior Alagoano blasted a shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Leopoldo Cerezo having to make a save. In the 87th minute, Luiz Maciel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Leopoldo Cerezo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcelo Eger, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the 100 Chance defense, Marcelo Eger kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Leopoldo Cerezo. The 100 Chance fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Leopoldo Cerezo should have stopped the shot. Castanheiro SC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
