Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Laureano Vergaray in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ramiro Gabrio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Juan-Ramón Verón came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Berserkers FC Ψ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Juan-Ramón Verón couldn't finish the play. 17 minutes into the match, Berserkers FC Ψ's goalkeeper Ramiro Gabrio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Laureano Vergaray. Laureano Vergarays short, quick shot in the 17thth minute got Ramiro Gabrio to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Franco Armani showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juan-Ramón Verón in the 19th minute of the match. Franco Armani took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juan-Ramón Verón, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 22 minutes into the match, Elvio Ted notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Adrogue FC's Franco Armani. Franco Armani was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpected shot in the 29th minute by Laureano Vergaray got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 32 minutes into the game, Arnoldo Txema threw the ball into play from the sideline. Adrogue FC's 高文乐 quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 36th minute of the game Arnoldo Txema made a throw-in which Juan-Ramón Verón played forward. Franco Armani made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elvio Ted in the 37th minute of play. The supporters of Adrogue FC booed when Berserkers FC Ψ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Steve Harris didn't get a good kick on the ball. 41 minutes into the match, Berserkers FC Ψ's goalkeeper Ramiro Gabrio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Laureano Vergaray. Berserkers FC Ψ's Ramiro Gabrio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Laureano Vergaray in the 45th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Berserkers FC Ψ's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Godofredo James in the 55th minute. Berserkers FC Ψ's Godofredo James was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Franco Armani in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Juan Pablo Angel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ramiro Gabrio having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Laureano Vergaray in the 73rd minute of play forced Berserkers FC Ψ's goalkeeper Ramiro Gabrio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Berserkers FC Ψ's Ramiro Gabrio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Laureano Vergaray in the 75th minute of play. Juan Ignacio Circelli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 87 minutes into the match, Adrogue FC's goalkeeper Franco Armani had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Juan Ignacio Circelli. In the 87th minute, Berserkers FC Ψ's Juan Ignacio Circelli dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-3. In the 91st minute Juan Ignacio Circelli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Franco Armani saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 92 minutes into the match, Berserkers FC Ψ's goal looked a bit too open when Juan Pablo Angel came free, but Ramiro Gabrio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ramiro Gabrio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Piti Martinez in the 97th minute of the match.
