A throw-in in the 25th minute of the game was made by Hector Fernandez with Orlando Cordarell as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Laureano Vergaray's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ioan Voicu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. The corner ended in Ismael Abalos almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Club Atlético Temperley's Ioan Voicu did a great save. Laureano Vergaray's late challenge caught a Club Atlético Temperley's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Laureano Vergaray helped the player get up and apologised. Franco Armani showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gaston Laurendi in the 36th minute of the match. The Adrogue FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Club Atlético Temperley were winning 0-1.

With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ioan Voicu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristiano Correia in the 69th minute of play forced Adrogue FC's goalkeeper Franco Armani to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rolando Lopez who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 71stth minute tested the skills of Franco Armani when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Laureano Vergaray in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal.
