Cristo Basajaun could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Robustiano Cordareo made a huge save. A collision led to Forros Fantásticos AC getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Filip Geambașu hit a great ball. 13 minutes into the game, Ambrosio Rayman threw the ball into play from the sideline. C.A.Independiente's Gavril Bosioc quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. 16 minutes into the match, Forros Fantásticos AC's goal looked a bit too open when Heigo Luiga came free, but Robustiano Cordareo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Heigo Luiga took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Robustiano Cordareo. Robustiano Cordareo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Robustiano Cordareo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Heigo Luiga in the 32nd minute of play. When Gavril Bosioc came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the C.A.Independiente fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gavril Bosioc couldn't finish the play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Heigo Luiga to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute Heigo Luiga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robustiano Cordareo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 55 played minutes C.A.Independiente got a freekick which was hit by Nereo Frederico. The audience was convinced that Octavio Marcones's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ciriaco Macias was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. In the 61st minute, Octavio Marcones made a precise shot to the right of Ciriaco Macias. C.A.Independiente's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Robustiano Cordareo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Øyvind Rovik in the 66th minute of play. In the 67th minute, Ambrosio Rayman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Forros Fantásticos AC made a substitution. Candido Artaldo replaced Filip Geambașu. Forros Fantásticos AC's Paolo Librado was substituted for Ambrosio Rayman. In the 79th minute of the match C.A.Independiente got a corner. Forros Fantásticos AC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Bernardino Gonsalve ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led C.A.Independiente's Bernardino Gonsalve to fire away a dangerous shot which Robustiano Cordareo despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alejo Lehior got free with Ciriaco Macias in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 81st match minute, C.A.Independiente was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lisandro Mederi to maneuver through the defense. Ciriaco Macias acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 82nd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Romeo Nabar. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind Forros Fantásticos AC's goalkeeper Robustiano Cordareo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 89 minutes into the match, Godofredo Quintana dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ciriaco Macias, 1-2. C.A.Independiente's Gavril Bosioc managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Octavio Pabla in the 93 minute of the game. When the match was over Forros Fantásticos AC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than C.A.Independiente throughout the match.
