Robert Kirby could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Jaime Senin made a huge save. After 17 played minutes Granate got a freekick which was hit by Celestino Bernal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Efrain Incendio in the 18th minute of play forced Granate's goalkeeper Jonathan Palmquist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. ľƼ-6-ľȜ ♆ ƬЄ ƢƲЄƦЄƧ MƛƬƛƦ's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Paata Gagnidze in the 19th minute. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Granate's goalkeeper Jonathan Palmquist, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Efrain Incendio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Efrain Incendio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Palmquist read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. Jonathan Palmquist stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Efrain Incendio's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. Jonathan Palmquist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Efrain Incendio in the 33rd minute of the match. 34 minutes into the match, ľƼ-6-ľȜ ♆ ƬЄ ƢƲЄƦЄƧ MƛƬƛƦ's goal looked a bit too open when Christos Triantafyllou came free, but Jaime Senin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Efrain Incendio took the ball and in the 43 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Palmquist. Jonathan Palmquist dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After 47 played minutes Granate got a freekick which was hit by Robert Kirby. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

With his leg Jonathan Palmquist managed to avoid a goal in the 62ndth minute, when ľƼ-6-ľȜ ♆ ƬЄ ƢƲЄƦЄƧ MƛƬƛƦ's Efrain Incendio fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 62nd match minute, Granate was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Celestino Bernal to maneuver through the defense. ľƼ-6-ľȜ ♆ ƬЄ ƢƲЄƦЄƧ MƛƬƛƦ made a substitution. The crowd rose to their feet as Luis Rius kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jonathan Palmquist. That made the score 0-2 in the 65 minute of play. In the 67th minute, ľƼ-6-ľȜ ♆ ƬЄ ƢƲЄƦЄƧ MƛƬƛƦ's Luis Rius dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-3. In the 72nd minute, ľƼ-6-ľȜ ♆ ƬЄ ƢƲЄƦЄƧ MƛƬƛƦ's Luis Rius ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jonathan Palmquist. Jonathan Palmquist yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-4. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Luis Rius managed to get in a good position for a shot. ľƼ-6-ľȜ ♆ ƬЄ ƢƲЄƦЄƧ MƛƬƛƦ's supporters rose to their feet, but Luis Rius was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Palmquist breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 83 minutes, Paata Gagnidze mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ľƼ-6-ľȜ ♆ ƬЄ ƢƲЄƦЄƧ MƛƬƛƦ and the Granate players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to ľƼ-6-ľȜ ♆ ƬЄ ƢƲЄƦЄƧ MƛƬƛƦ getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Paata Gagnidze hit a great ball. Jonathan Palmquist was a little too slow when Luis Rius got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 87th minute. The score was now 0-6. 90 minutes into the match, Granate's goal looked a bit too open when Luis Rius came free, but Jonathan Palmquist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 96th minute Luis Rius shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Palmquist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
