Martin Jax took the ball and in the 3 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Camilo Salvidor. Camilo Salvidor dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Gabriele Batistuta blasted a shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Andres Lastur having to make a save. 8 minutes into the match, GERLIROJO Ψ's goal looked a bit too open when Gabriele Batistuta came free, but Andres Lastur reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Iwan Rawa hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Tomas Cordaryal hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Iwan Rawa made in the 13th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Arnout Van den Wyngaert however managed to control. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Martin Jax in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Camilo Salvidor saved Menchu FC from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnout Van den Wyngaert in the 19th minute of play forced Menchu FC's goalkeeper Camilo Salvidor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gabriele Batistuta in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Andres Lastur saved GERLIROJO Ψ from getting behind. 25 minutes into the match, Menchu FC's goal looked a bit too open when Martin Jax came free, but Camilo Salvidor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Menchu FC's Tomas Cordaryal quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Roger Bouget, made in the 26th minute of the game. Gabriele Batistuta could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Andres Lastur made a huge save. GERLIROJO Ψ's defense didn't have a chance, in the 27th minute, when Gabriele Batistuta scored to the left of an out of position Andres Lastur, making the score, 1-1. A collision led to GERLIROJO Ψ getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Nicolas Salomon hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Gabriele Batistuta's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Andres Lastur was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. GERLIROJO Ψ were awarded a corner in the 38th minute after Menchu FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Nicolas Salomon took the corner. Nicolas Salomon made a great header on GERLIROJO Ψ's corner, it was just that Menchu FC's Camilo Salvidor managed to reach the ball for a save. GERLIROJO Ψ's Andres Lastur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gabriele Batistuta in the 44th minute of play. 45 minutes into the match, GERLIROJO Ψ's goal looked a bit too open when Gabriele Batistuta came free, but Andres Lastur reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Martin Jax stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Menchu FC booed when GERLIROJO Ψ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Martin Jax didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Martin Jax had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 67 minutes into the match, Menchu FC's goalkeeper Camilo Salvidor had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Martin Jax. Menchu FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 67th minute, when Martin Jax scored to the left of an out of position Camilo Salvidor, making the score, 1-2. GERLIROJO Ψ's Aquilino Ihintza was substituted for Genaro Tauro. Menchu FC made a substitution. Gaston Firmo replaced Peter Söderqwist. GERLIROJO Ψ's Andres Lastur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Caetano Linhares in the 74th minute of play. In the 74th minute Caetano Linhares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andres Lastur saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Camilo Salvidor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Epifanio Ibañez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Andres Lastur came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by Menchu FC's Carlos Campelo. But to his dismay, Carlos Campelo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. When the match had gone on for 85 minutes, Gaston Firmo put it in 3-2 from a short distance just to the right of Andres Lastur. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gaston Firmo in the 90th minute of play forced GERLIROJO Ψ's goalkeeper Andres Lastur to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 93rd minute of the match Menchu FC got a corner. GERLIROJO Ψ's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Lucas Martínez Quarta ran over to the corner to take the kick. GERLIROJO Ψ's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
