The ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA fans' excitement grew in the 4th match minute when ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's Elpidio Francis looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 8 minutes into the match, ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's goal looked a bit too open when Lech Biskupiak came free, but Branislav Velchevski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cristian Vladimirescu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Elpidio Francis's shot from short distance in the 9th minute. Riesgo Cero's Cristian Vladimirescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elpidio Francis in the 19th minute of play. In the 25th match minute, ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arnoldo Cordero to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lech Biskupiak in the 28th minute of play forced ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's goalkeeper Branislav Velchevski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Branislav Velchevski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lech Biskupiak in the 30th minute of play. Elpidio Francis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cristian Vladimirescu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. After 39 minutes of play, Riesgo Cero's Kubilay İmge made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Branislav Velchevski was left in no man's land by his defense there! Timoteo Basualdo kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match.

The wind increased when Santo Damario made the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute of the match, 庄潮宽 tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Branislav Velchevski saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA made a substitution. Aristides Asteri replaced Arnaldo Gabon. ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA made a substitution. Zacarias Osorio replaced Arnoldo Cordero. The audience was convinced that Zacarias Osorio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cristian Vladimirescu was relentless in the 93rd minute of the game. Cristian Vladimirescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from André Monclús in the 94th minute of play. After 97 played minutes Riesgo Cero got a freekick which was hit by Abelardo Vitin. Cristian Vladimirescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from André Monclús in the 98th minute of the match. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Riesgo Cero had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
