Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Gabriele Batistuta kicked off to start the match. 5 minutes into the match, GERLIROJO Ψ's Martin Jax sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Camilo Salvidor narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 9 minutes into the match, Gabriele Batistuta had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Andres Lastur. GERLIROJO Ψ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gabriele Batistuta was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Martin Jax recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Roger Bouget made in the 17th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Menchu FC's Armando Roland. Gabriele Batistuta might have been able to make a better finish in the 21st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Andres Lastur. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gabriele Batistuta ran back to his position shaking his head. 21 minutes into the match, GERLIROJO Ψ's goal looked a bit too open when Gabriele Batistuta came free, but Andres Lastur reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 24 minutes in the game Armando Roland did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Carlos Campelo. Andres Lastur made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gabriele Batistuta in the 26th minute of play. 29 minutes into the match, Menchu FC's Gabriele Batistuta sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Andres Lastur narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabriele Batistuta in the 32nd minute of play forced GERLIROJO Ψ's goalkeeper Andres Lastur to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 35th minute, Martin Jax got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When GERLIROJO Ψ's Martin Jax in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Menchu FC's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabriele Batistuta in the 39th minute of play forced GERLIROJO Ψ's goalkeeper Andres Lastur to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 40 minutes GERLIROJO Ψ's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Lucas Martínez Quarta who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Menchu FC's corner Lucas Martínez Quarta fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Andres Lastur quite easily take care of the ball. Joaquin Lopez made in the 45th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Adriano Vilanova however managed to control. Camilo Salvidor didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Martin Jax went, in the 46th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

After having played for 54 minutes, Martin Jax managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. GERLIROJO Ψ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Martin Jax was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Menchu FC's attentive Armando Roland managed to snatch the ball when Isidro Larra made a throw-in in the 57th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice moves Gabriele Batistuta could shoot a difficult shot in the 58th minute, which Andres Lastur however easily saved by the left post. Gabriele Batistuta made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 58thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Andres Lastur would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Menchu FC's goalie and right to Genaro Tauro. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Menchu FC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. The supporters of Menchu FC booed when GERLIROJO Ψ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Natanael Coman didn't get a good kick on the ball. GERLIROJO Ψ's Aquilino Ihintza was substituted for Genaro Tauro. GERLIROJO Ψ made a substitution. Eleuterio Benvido replaced Furtado Ozaolaza. In the 70th match minute, GERLIROJO Ψ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Natanael Coman to maneuver through the defense. 71 minutes into the match, GERLIROJO Ψ's goalkeeper Andres Lastur had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lucas Martínez Quarta. The supporters of GERLIROJO Ψ booed when Menchu FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gaston Firmo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Roberto Carlo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Andres Lastur read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. Andres Lastur took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gabriele Batistuta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. At last the ball reached Roberto Carlo at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of GERLIROJO Ψ. 1-2. In the 84th minute Gabriele Batistuta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andres Lastur saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 85 minutes GERLIROJO Ψ's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Lucas Martínez Quarta who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Carlos Campelo got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Andres Lastur quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. When Aquilino Ihintza came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the GERLIROJO Ψ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aquilino Ihintza couldn't finish the play. Menchu FC's Arturo Roderigo was substituted for Roberto Carlo. Menchu FC's Silverio Sergi was substituted for Armando Roland. In the 95th minute of the match GERLIROJO Ψ got a corner. Menchu FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Eleuterio Benvido ran over to the corner to take the kick. When GERLIROJO Ψ's Epifanio Ibañez in the 96th minute got a chance for a shot 96th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Menchu FC's goalie prevented a goal. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Menchu FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
