The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Jeronimo Liebana made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eike Hörtnagel in the 4th minute of play. After 6 minutes of play, Sakálok's Federico Viñe made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jeronimo Liebana was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jeronimo Liebana took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eike Hörtnagel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 12th minute Sakálok were awarded a corner. Eike Hörtnagel went to the cornerflag to take it. Sakálok's Tzvetoslav Desov proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Sakálok from getting a goal against them. Jeronimo Liebana made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eike Hörtnagel in the 17th minute of play. 19 minutes into the game, Miklós Kállai cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Tzvetoslav Desov was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jeronimo Liebana showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Federico Viñe, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. After 22 minutes Soproni Kullancsok's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Eike Hörtnagel who took care of the corner kick. 24 minutes into the match, Soproni Kullancsok's goal looked a bit too open when Eike Hörtnagel came free, but Jeronimo Liebana reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jeronimo Liebana showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eike Hörtnagel in the 27th minute of the match. In the 28th minute Eike Hörtnagel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeronimo Liebana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jeronimo Liebana came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by Sakálok's Eike Hörtnagel. But to his dismay, Eike Hörtnagel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Tzvetoslav Desov made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marek Skarpiak in the 39th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Szczepan Szarmach in the 41st minute of play forced Sakálok's goalkeeper Tzvetoslav Desov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Miklós Kállai got free with Tzvetoslav Desov in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Caspar Motter made a kick off. After 50 minutes, Szczepan Szarmach mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Soproni Kullancsok and the Sakálok players grew even worse after the yellow card. Szczepan Szarmach hit a great freekick 50 minutes into the match. In the 52ndth minute of the game Caspar Motter who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Soproni Kullancsok's Jeronimo Liebana was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Caspar Motter had several of the Soproni Kullancsok's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 53 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-3 score and a disappointed Jeronimo Liebana as he didn't even see the shot coming. Caspar Motter received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Jeronimo Liebana tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 65th minute Caspar Motter shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeronimo Liebana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Caspar Motter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Soproni Kullancsok's Jeronimo Liebana played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Caspar Motter in the 68th minute of play. In the 70th minute Miklós Kállai shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tzvetoslav Desov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Soproni Kullancsok booed when Sakálok was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Albert Hupach didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sakálok made a substitution. Alex Zádori replaced Eike Hörtnagel. Sakálok made a substitution. Dániel Polgár replaced Albert Hupach. After 71 played minutes Sakálok got a freekick which was hit by Albert Hupach. 74 minutes into the match, Soproni Kullancsok's goal looked a bit too open when Caspar Motter came free, but Jeronimo Liebana reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miklós Kállai in the 77th minute of play forced Sakálok's goalkeeper Tzvetoslav Desov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 78 minutes into the match, Szczepan Szarmach had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tzvetoslav Desov. Sakálok's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Szczepan Szarmach was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. Sakálok made a substitution. Anfilogino Contaldi replaced Gottfrid Brovall. 85 minutes into the match, Sakálok's Caspar Motter sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jeronimo Liebana narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With his leg Jeronimo Liebana managed to avoid a goal in the 88thth minute, when Sakálok's Caspar Motter fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 92 played minutes Sakálok got a freekick which was hit by Dávid Barta.
