Márton Gombos made a fantastic save in the 8th minute, when Burç Sehhar sent off a good shot on target. In the 13th minute, ᴀꜱ ɴᴀɢʏᴍᴀʀᴏꜱ's Gergő Tisza dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. 16 minutes into the game, Dávid Baroch recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Márton Gombos. Dávid Baroch showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-0. In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sporting Savaria's goalkeeper Márton Gombos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Dávid Baroch could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Márton Gombos made a huge save. Márton Gombos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gergő Tisza's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. After 24th play minutes Gergő Tisza shot 5-0, a short shot which went by Márton Gombos and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sporting Savaria's goalkeeper Márton Gombos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Gergő Tisza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a defensive mix-up in Sporting Savaria's zone, Wayne Rooney stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Márton Gombos came out of the goal and Wayne Rooney tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Sporting Savaria's Adorján Mónos got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Through an outstanding action, after 46 minutes, Márton Gombos successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Sporting Savaria's Márton Gombos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Sporting Savaria from getting a goal against them. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Sporting Savaria's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dávid Baroch was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-0. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 9-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Wayne Rooney had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gergő Tisza in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Márton Gombos prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
