Vérsárkány SE's Tibor Kun was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Arnold Szuper in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 8th minute, Ferenc Jászberényi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bandit Sarap showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mihály Földesi, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Arnold Szuper showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Csongor Tálas, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Szombathely Squirrels's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tibor Kun ran over to the corner to take the kick. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Albert Puskás managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vérsárkány SE's supporters rose to their feet, but Albert Puskás was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arnold Szuper breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Arnold Szuper showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nimród Tálas in the 37th minute of the match. Arnold Szuper didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Albert Puskás went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Albert Puskás could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Arnold Szuper made a huge save. When the match had gone on for 43 minutes, Nimród Tálas took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Arnold Szuper to make any attempt to save it.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nimród Tálas was the one to do the kick off. Csongor Tálas took the ball and in the 51 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Arnold Szuper. Arnold Szuper dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Tibor Kun took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Arnold Szuper. After a rather tough play, Szombathely Squirrels's Krisztián György got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Arnold Szuper showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albert Puskás in the 65th minute of the match. Szombathely Squirrels's Arnold Szuper played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albert Puskás in the 66th minute of play. A collision led to Szombathely Squirrels getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Krisztián György hit a great ball. 73 minutes into the match, Szombathely Squirrels's goal looked a bit too open when Csongor Tálas came free, but Arnold Szuper reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 76th match minute, Szombathely Squirrels was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lajos Jakó to maneuver through the defense. 77 minutes into the match, Szombathely Squirrels's goal looked a bit too open when Tibor Kun came free, but Arnold Szuper reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albert Puskás in the 79th minute of play forced Szombathely Squirrels's goalkeeper Arnold Szuper to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Szombathely Squirrels defense, Tibor Kun kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Arnold Szuper. The Szombathely Squirrels fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arnold Szuper should have stopped the shot. 83 minutes into the game, Nimród Tálas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 8-0. Arnold Szuper was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 87 minutes into the game, Vérsárkány SE's Albert Puskás nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Arnold Szuper made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 9-0. Arnold Szuper showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Csongor Tálas in the 90th minute of the match. In the 94th minute, Krisztián György hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nimród Tálas in the 95th minute of play forced Szombathely Squirrels's goalkeeper Arnold Szuper to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 96 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Vérsárkány SE's Nimród Tálas fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. There was no doubt that Vérsárkány SE were the better team. Vérsárkány SE's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
