István Tótfalusi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After 10 played minutes Szolnoki MÁV got a freekick which was hit by Lajos Keresztesi. After 11 minutes, Egon Sinka made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Szolnoki MÁV's István Tótfalusi tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Százhalombattai VUK SE's György Solti proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Százhalombattai VUK SE from getting a goal against them. László Sári hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gedeon Csákvári in the 22nd minute of play forced Százhalombattai VUK SE's goalkeeper György Solti to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 31st minute, Szolnoki MÁV's Roland Varga dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-2. 33 minutes into the match, Százhalombattai VUK SE's goal looked a bit too open when Lajos Keresztesi came free, but György Solti reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. György Solti made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lajos Keresztesi in the 35th minute. György Solti made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Emesto Muñagorri sent off a good shot on target. György Solti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gedeon Csákvári in the 45th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Emesto Muñagorri got free with György Solti in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Csongor Murai during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 47th match minute, Százhalombattai VUK SE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Csongor Murai to maneuver through the defense. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-2 at half-time.

Százhalombattai VUK SE's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Szolnoki MÁV the free kick. A collision led to Százhalombattai VUK SE getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. József Tóth hit a great ball. The supporters of Százhalombattai VUK SE booed when Szolnoki MÁV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lajos Keresztesi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Százhalombattai VUK SE's György Solti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emesto Muñagorri in the 64th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Egon Sinka's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but István Tótfalusi was relentless in the 66th minute of the game. Emesto Muñagorri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 70 minutes into the match, Százhalombattai VUK SE's goal looked a bit too open when Emesto Muñagorri came free, but György Solti reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. György Solti showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emesto Muñagorri in the 79th minute of the match. 80 minutes into the game, Gedeon Csákvári cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-2. György Solti was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 95 minutes into the match, Százhalombattai VUK SE's goal looked a bit too open when Lajos Keresztesi came free, but György Solti reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Egon Sinka in the 98th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg István Tótfalusi saved Szolnoki MÁV from getting behind. When the referee ended the match the Szolnoki MÁV players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
