With an extended leg and a bit of luck Siro Osasun prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A well-hit corner resulted in Zalán Kovács heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. András Horváth made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zoltán Kozák in the 20th minute of play. After 21 played minutes Szajk LC got a freekick which was hit by Jonas Cesaro. Zalán Kovács fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Siro Osasun having to interfere. 35 minutes into the match, Szajk LC's goal looked a bit too open when Tibor Pucheli came free, but András Horváth reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A sloppy throw-in by Lukács Baróti in the 38th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Szajk LC's Zsolt Nagy. Csongor Csorba fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Siro Osasun having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Siro Osasun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Csongor Csorba, who was totally free with the ball in the 50th minute. The supporters of Szajk LC booed when FlagellumDei was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lukács Baróti didn't get a good kick on the ball. Siro Osasun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Csongor Csorba in the 95th minute of the match.
