The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 0-1 became the score in the 6th minute when Albert Puskás elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After 12 played minutes Vérsárkány SE got a freekick which was hit by Ákos Király. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nimród Tálas during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 20th minute, Nimród Tálas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 23 minutes into the match, Vérsárkány SE's goalkeeper Bandit Sarap had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Miklós Pálosi. Bandit Sarap was a little too slow when Zoltán Kozák got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 28th minute. The score was now 1-1. Vencel Sarkady received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Bandit Sarap tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Siro Osasun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nimród Tálas in the 34th minute of the match. 35 minutes into the game, Vencel Sarkady recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Bandit Sarap. Vencel Sarkady showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. Lukács Baróti kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Vérsárkány SE's Tibor Kun got a free kick in the 46th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nimród Tálas was the one to do the kick off. Siro Osasun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Csongor Tálas, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. 53 minutes into the game, Csongor Tálas lined in a short shot 2-2 behind a frustrated Siro Osasun. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Miklós Pálosi in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bandit Sarap prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Bandit Sarap showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zoltán Kozák in the 59th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Albert Puskás got free with Siro Osasun in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bandit Sarap showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miklós Pálosi, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. FlagellumDei's Zoltán Kozák got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 68th minute FlagellumDei were awarded a corner. Tibor Kun was slow to take the kick. During this time Vérsárkány SE's players had a chance to rest. Tibor Kun made a great header on Vérsárkány SE's corner, it was just that FlagellumDei's Siro Osasun managed to reach the ball for a save. After a rather tough play, Vérsárkány SE's Csaba Miklós got a free kick in the 74th minute.
