When Szajk LC's Zalán Kovács in the 3rd minute got a chance for a shot 3rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Vérsárkány SE's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tibor Bósa in the 9th minute of play forced Vérsárkány SE's goalkeeper Bandit Sarap to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Vérsárkány SE's Bandit Sarap got control of the ball when Zsolt Nagy tried to sneak it across the goal line. 16 minutes into the match, Vérsárkány SE's goal looked a bit too open when Zalán Kovács came free, but Bandit Sarap reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. András Horváth made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Csongor Tálas in the 18th minute of play. 20 minutes into the match, Vérsárkány SE's goalkeeper Bandit Sarap had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Csongor Csorba. Bandit Sarap made an important save on a dangerous shot by Csongor Csorba in the 22nd minute. 26 minutes into the match, Máté Kőváry had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of András Horváth. Szajk LC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Máté Kőváry was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Through an outstanding action, after 32 minutes, Bandit Sarap successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 34thth minute of the game Zalán Kovács who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vérsárkány SE's Bandit Sarap was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Szajk LC were awarded a corner in the 35th minute after Vérsárkány SE's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Zénó Polgár took the corner. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zalán Kovács in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bandit Sarap prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albert Puskás in the 39th minute of play forced Szajk LC's goalkeeper András Horváth to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vérsárkány SE's Bandit Sarap proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Vérsárkány SE from getting a goal against them. If Zalán Kovács had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Zalán Kovács to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute of the match Árpád Konkoly sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bandit Sarap skillfully saved the ball. After a rather tough play, Szajk LC's Zsolt Nagy got a free kick in the 56th minute. 58 minutes into the match, Vérsárkány SE's goal looked a bit too open when Zalán Kovács came free, but Bandit Sarap reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 59 minutes Vérsárkány SE's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Zénó Polgár who took care of the corner kick. Tibor Bósa took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bandit Sarap. Bandit Sarap dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Zalán Kovács fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bandit Sarap having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Levente Makkai's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bandit Sarap was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. Vérsárkány SE's Bandit Sarap played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dávid Benkó in the 79th minute of play. Rigoberto Balendin struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Bandit Sarap didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Szajk LC. Bandit Sarap made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Csongor Csorba in the 86th minute of play. Bandit Sarap showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Levente Makkai, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Bandit Sarap took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Levente Makkai, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 92 minutes into the match, Levente Makkai had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bandit Sarap. Vérsárkány SE's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Levente Makkai was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Many of Vérsárkány SE's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Vérsárkány SE may have spent more time on the ball, but Szajk LC were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
