Gergely Seres came out of the goal in the 9th minute to try and stop a shot by Szentgotthárd's Konstanty Dzierwa. But to his dismay, Konstanty Dzierwa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 13th minute Pancho Puskás shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gergely Seres saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Szentgotthárd's Kornél Hajdú proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Szentgotthárd from getting a goal against them. It was a well-played corner which Márk Borsos managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Pancho Puskás sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Veresi Új Generáció were awarded a corner in the 35th minute after Szentgotthárd's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Mátyás Gelencsér took the corner. Mátyás Gelencsér made a great header on Veresi Új Generáció's corner, it was just that Szentgotthárd's Kornél Hajdú managed to reach the ball for a save. 42 minutes into the match, Veresi Új Generáció's goal looked a bit too open when József Sallói came free, but Gergely Seres reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After taking down the ball on Szentgotthárd's corner Bálint Benedek fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Gergely Seres quite easily take care of the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The wind increased when Ferenc Sipos made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st match minute, Szentgotthárd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dávid Papp to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Szentgotthárd's zone, Ferenc Sipos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kornél Hajdú came out of the goal and Ferenc Sipos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gergely Seres made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Konstanty Dzierwa sent off a good shot on target. Veresi Új Generáció's Gergely Seres proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Veresi Új Generáció from getting a goal against them. Mátyás Gelencsér fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kornél Hajdú having to interfere. Veresi Új Generáció's Mátyás Pál was substituted for Ferenc Sipos. Through an outstanding action, after 62 minutes, Gergely Seres successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Kornél Hajdú took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mátyás Gelencsér, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Szentgotthárd's Zakariás Tótfalusi was substituted for Pancho Puskás. After 73 minutes, Zakariás Tótfalusi made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Veresi Új Generáció's Gergely Seres tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind Szentgotthárd's goalkeeper Kornél Hajdú, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Kornél Hajdú showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mátyás Gelencsér in the 79th minute of the match. A hard shot 80 in the game by Zakariás Tótfalusi from a close distance when the talented Gergely Seres managed to make a qualified save. Veresi Új Generáció's players were relieved. Gergely Seres made an important save on a dangerous shot by József Sallói in the 82nd minute. In the 83rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Veresi Új Generáció's goalkeeper Gergely Seres, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 84 minutes into the game, Ádám Pető cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Kornél Hajdú was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. József Sallói sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Konstanty Dzierwa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Gergely Seres made a huge save. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
