János Moravecz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gabriel Fabelo in the 8th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patrik Kádár in the 10th minute of play forced Csabagyöngye's goalkeeper Tobias Reuters to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 18th minute, János Kovács hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Wen Bing Liang in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tobias Reuters prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match had gone on for 21 minutes, Gabriel Fabelo put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of János Moravecz. After a rather tough play, Csabagyöngye's Rich Durbridge got a free kick in the 24th minute. 28 minutes into the game, Róbert Dömötör was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Csabagyöngye's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SÉ SE the free kick. Róbert Dömötör kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. The supporters of Csabagyöngye booed when SÉ SE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Armas Vapamaa didn't get a good kick on the ball. 34 minutes into the match, SÉ SE's goal looked a bit too open when Rich Durbridge came free, but János Moravecz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 37th match minute, Csabagyöngye was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rich Durbridge to maneuver through the defense. With his leg Tobias Reuters managed to avoid a goal in the 40thth minute, when SÉ SE's Wen Bing Liang fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Wen Bing Liang had several of the Csabagyöngye's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 40 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-1 score and a disappointed Tobias Reuters as he didn't even see the shot coming. Tobias Reuters took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patrik Kádár, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Wen Bing Liang made a kick off. Tobias Reuters made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patrik Kádár in the 53rd minute of play. SÉ SE were awarded a corner in the 55th minute after Csabagyöngye's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Levente Ballai took the corner. After 56 played minutes SÉ SE got a freekick which was hit by Ludomil Bronkala. In the 56th minute of the match Rich Durbridge sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but János Moravecz skillfully saved the ball. In the 68th minute, Kálmán Ónodi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tobias Reuters was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. SÉ SE made a substitution. Zalán Ibrahimovic replaced Wen Bing Liang. Csabagyöngye's Gyula Németh was substituted for Gergely Dobi. In the 77th minute, Conrado Saraiva ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. János Moravecz was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Csabagyöngye's Tobias Reuters played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zalán Ibrahimovic in the 83rd minute of play.
