A sloppy throw-in by Doriva Furlan in the 2nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Valencia CF Mindszent's Gáspár Rigó. But to his dismay, Gábor Joó quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Rene Higuita made an important save on a dangerous shot by Olaf Wieczorek in the 18th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gábor Joó in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marciano Marino prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Elek Bognár sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Gábor Joó, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 28 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Marciano Marino was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. 31 minutes into the match, Valencia CF Mindszent's goal looked a bit too open when Olaf Wieczorek came free, but Rene Higuita reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 33rd minute, Olaf Wieczorek hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 34thth minute of the game Gábor Joó who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Várdomb's Marciano Marino was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Várdomb's Marciano Marino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gábor Joó in the 36th minute of play. Valencia CF Mindszent's Rene Higuita played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pape Lillo in the 43rd minute of play. In the 45th minute of the match Valencia CF Mindszent got a corner. Várdomb's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Christos Xenidis ran over to the corner to take the kick. After 47 played minutes Várdomb got a freekick which was hit by Mendiko Angles. The Várdomb players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Valencia CF Mindszent were winning 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Neymar Da Silva was the one to do the kick off. Gábor Joó could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Marciano Marino made a huge save. In the 60th minute of the match Valencia CF Mindszent got a corner. Várdomb's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Christos Xenidis ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Várdomb's goalie and right to Elek Bognár. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Várdomb's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. 65 minutes into the match, Valencia CF Mindszent's goal looked a bit too open when Imre Herceg came free, but Rene Higuita reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Valencia CF Mindszent made a substitution. Adolfo Larrauri replaced Marcell Kiss. Valencia CF Mindszent's Silvestre Pacorro was substituted for Christos Xenidis. Várdomb's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Mendiko Angles in the 68th minute. When Konstantin Fitos came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Valencia CF Mindszent fans jumped to their feet. In the 85th minute, Valencia CF Mindszent's Konstantin Fitos dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. If Konstantin Fitos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Valencia CF Mindszent getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Adolfo Larrauri hit a great ball. Valencia CF Mindszent's Rene Higuita played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Olaf Wieczorek in the 95th minute of play.
