Tobias Reuters made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ferenc Sipos in the 5th minute. After 9 played minutes Veresi Új Generáció got a freekick which was hit by Kaká de Brito. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rich Durbridge in the 12th minute of play forced Veresi Új Generáció's goalkeeper Gergely Seres to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Avni Yağızhan was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 13 minutes into the match. In the 13th minute, one of Veresi Új Generáció:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Veresi Új Generáció. Veresi Új Generáció:s Gergely Seres showed great skill when he stopped Gergely Dobi:s penalty. When Rich Durbridge came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Csabagyöngye fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rich Durbridge couldn't finish the play. Gabriel Fabelo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ferenc Sipos kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. In the 29th minute Rich Durbridge shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gergely Seres saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Veresi Új Generáció's Gergely Seres played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rich Durbridge in the 31st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rich Durbridge in the 32nd minute of play forced Veresi Új Generáció's goalkeeper Gergely Seres to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Csabagyöngye's Rich Durbridge in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Veresi Új Generáció's goalie prevented a goal. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind Veresi Új Generáció's goalkeeper Gergely Seres, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Rich Durbridge took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gergely Seres. Gergely Seres dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Gergely Seres showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rich Durbridge in the 48th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gabriel Fabelo was the one to do the kick off. Rich Durbridge received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Gergely Seres tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Rich Durbridge managed to get in a good position for a shot. Csabagyöngye's supporters rose to their feet, but Rich Durbridge was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gergely Seres breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Veresi Új Generáció made a substitution. Mátyás Pál replaced Ferenc Sipos. 62 minutes into the match, Csabagyöngye's goal looked a bit too open when Mátyás Pál came free, but Tobias Reuters reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 63rd minute, Qiao Lang hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Csabagyöngye's Conrado Saraiva was substituted for Gabriel Fabelo. Csabagyöngye's Gyula Németh was substituted for Gergely Dobi. Gergely Seres was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Rich Durbridge. Mátyás Pál's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tobias Reuters read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. Tobias Reuters didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mátyás Pál went, in the 76th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Veresi Új Generáció's Gedeon Virág was substituted for Erik Forgács. With a little luck, Veresi Új Generáció's Gergely Seres got control of the ball when Rich Durbridge tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Veresi Új Generáció's zone, Conrado Saraiva stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gergely Seres came out of the goal and Conrado Saraiva tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Csabagyöngye's Tobias Reuters played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ádám Pető in the 84th minute of play. In the 88th match minute, Csabagyöngye was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Róbert Dömötör to maneuver through the defense. Veresi Új Generáció made a substitution. György Havass replaced Ádám Pető. Róbert Dömötör hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. In the 94th minute, Csabagyöngye's Conrado Saraiva dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. When the match was over Csabagyöngye could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Veresi Új Generáció throughout the match.
