MZ Fénix's Aras Görkem Kaymaz was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Taka Levidze in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Vladimiro Granja got in the 10th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Taka Levidze handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cai Yuan Yuan got free with Taka Levidze in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Taka Levidze showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cai Yuan Yuan in the 29th minute of the match. After some careless play in the PROTON F.C. defense, Cai Yuan Yuan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Taka Levidze. The PROTON F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Taka Levidze should have stopped the shot. 37 minutes into the match, PROTON F.C.'s goalkeeper Taka Levidze had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cai Yuan Yuan. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cai Yuan Yuan in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Taka Levidze prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 41 minutes PROTON F.C.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Aras Görkem Kaymaz who took care of the corner kick. In the 45th minute Cai Yuan Yuan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Taka Levidze saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Marco Mistral to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind PROTON F.C.'s goalkeeper Taka Levidze, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 55 minutes into the match, PROTON F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Cai Yuan Yuan came free, but Taka Levidze reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Taka Levidze dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Cai Yuan Yuan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Florin Dragușin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Florin Dragușin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 98 minutes into the game, MZ Fénix's Cai Yuan Yuan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Taka Levidze made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0.
