In the 3rd minute Enrique Astrada shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yanic Kulenovic saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FC Wil 1900's Yanic Kulenovic proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save FC Wil 1900 from getting a goal against them. In the 8th minute, Aquiles Lazcano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, FC Wil 1900's Yanic Kulenovic got control of the ball when Aquiles Lazcano tried to sneak it across the goal line. Aquiles Lazcano kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. After 19 played minutes FC Wil 1900 got a freekick which was hit by Lucius Frank. In the 26th minute Isidor Jutzi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Delmiro Iztal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Facundo Nahass short, quick shot in the 27thth minute got Yanic Kulenovic to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. A collision led to FC Wil 1900 getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Isidor Jutzi hit a great ball. In the 29th minute, Facundo Nahas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Enrique Astrada hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. After having played for 44 minutes, Enrique Astrada managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Atlético Escocia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Enrique Astrada was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Facundo Nahas to make the kick off. Frederic Kuster scored 0-1 in the 54th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Delmiro Iztal, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 59th minute, Facundo Nahas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Yanic Kulenovic was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. After 64 played minutes Club Atlético Escocia got a freekick which was hit by Arturo Madaleno. Delmiro Iztal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isidor Jutzi, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. After a rather tough play, Club Atlético Escocia's Facundo Nahas got a free kick in the 70th minute. Club Atlético Escocia's Sebastian Selatse was substituted for Lucas Quinto. After 71 played minutes Club Atlético Escocia got a freekick which was hit by Facundo Nahas. After 73 played minutes Club Atlético Escocia got a freekick which was hit by Aquiles Lazcano. After 80 played minutes Club Atlético Escocia got a freekick which was hit by Arturo Madaleno. In the 82nd match minute, Club Atlético Escocia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aurelio Resto to maneuver through the defense. In the 85th minute, Enrique Astrada made a precise shot to the right of Yanic Kulenovic. FC Wil 1900's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. After 92 played minutes FC Wil 1900 got a freekick which was hit by Isidor Jutzi. Yanic Kulenovic came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by Club Atlético Escocia's Aquiles Lazcano. But to his dismay, Aquiles Lazcano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Club Atlético Escocia had won after a very even match.
