The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When Gonzalo Errando came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Filial Los Canarios fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gonzalo Errando couldn't finish the play. The throw-in from Sven-Arne Olsson in the 24th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Filial Los Canarios's Gonzalo Errando. In the 36th minute Julian Socorro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfredo Joey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Arnoldo Medina managed to get in a good position for a shot. Palermo's supporters rose to their feet, but Arnoldo Medina was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ubaldo Fillol breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Santiago Mino made a kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Julian Socorro got free with Alfredo Joey in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With an all-out effort, Filial Los Canarios's Alfredo Joey threw himself towards the right post 60 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Julian Socorro, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Ubaldo Fillol showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arnoldo Medina in the 65th minute of the match. Ubaldo Fillol made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santiago Mino in the 68th minute of play. Ubaldo Fillol came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Palermo's Arnoldo Medina. But to his dismay, Arnoldo Medina quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Alfredo Joey made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Atilano Cordareo in the 88th minute of play.
