Unidad de Matanza's Venancio Cristofol proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Unidad de Matanza from getting a goal against them. Thom Threepwood showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Michal Stehno, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Venancio Cristofol made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jairo Malheiro in the 29th minute. Jens-Ola Åkerström made in the 37th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Unidad de Matanza's Máximo Kirchner. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jairo Malheiro was the one to do the kick off. Thom Threepwood tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Unidad de Matanza defense, Cayo Mario kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Venancio Cristofol. The Unidad de Matanza fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Venancio Cristofol should have stopped the shot. Unidad de Matanza were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Radiohead Freaks Club to leave the ground with a draw.
