But to his dismay, Arnoldo Medina quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Palermo's Jhonny Del Fierro was substituted for Santiago Mino. Palermo made a substitution. Patryk Wiater replaced Marcelino Chaime. After 89 played minutes Palermo got a freekick which was hit by Arnoldo Medina. Jacobo Ortzi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Victorino Francis having to make a save. When Arnoldo Medina fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Palermo's protests and gave Arnoldo Medina a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Lechero«ISTDG» Ambato booed when Palermo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arnoldo Medina didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the final whistle sounded Palermo left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Lechero«ISTDG» Ambato.
