Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pippin Aguilera in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aquiles Ellande prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of VAMO ARRIBA booed when CRUZ DEL SUR was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bautista Marcó didn't get a good kick on the ball. CRUZ DEL SUR's Zachariasz Dudkowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Piara Gerli in the 26th minute of play. Zachariasz Dudkowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Piara Gerli in the 32nd minute of play. After some careless play in the VAMO ARRIBA defense, Augusto Estefan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aquiles Ellande. The VAMO ARRIBA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aquiles Ellande should have stopped the shot. When the match had gone on for 43 minutes, Pippin Aguilera took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Aquiles Ellande to make any attempt to save it. 47 minutes into the match, VAMO ARRIBA's goal looked a bit too open when Pippin Aguilera came free, but Aquiles Ellande reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Augusto Estefan was the one to do the kick off. Eustacio Antonucci might have been able to make a better finish in the 80th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Aquiles Ellande. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. In the 94th minute, Jesus Oxel reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Zachariasz Dudkowski. The goal made the score 5-1. CRUZ DEL SUR's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
