In the 9th minute Alfonso Goicoechea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luis Galarza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alexandre Rodrigues in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pankracy Glogowski saved Club Atlético Atlanta from getting behind. Club Atlético Atlanta's Pankracy Glogowski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Club Atlético Atlanta from getting a goal against them. Pankracy Glogowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alexandre Rodrigues in the 13th minute of the match. Pankracy Glogowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexandre Rodrigues in the 17th minute of play. With a little luck, Club Atlético Atlanta's Pankracy Glogowski got control of the ball when Recep Guftar tried to sneak it across the goal line. Kalatakaya F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Alexandre Rodrigues was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Pankracy Glogowski made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Vali Romoşan sent off a good shot on target. Kalatakaya F.C.'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Alejandro Chumacero in the 38th minute. After taking down the ball on Kalatakaya F.C.'s corner Alejandro Chumacero fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Pankracy Glogowski quite easily take care of the ball. After 39 minutes, Paolo Caradaro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Club Atlético Atlanta and the Kalatakaya F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 39 played minutes Club Atlético Atlanta got a freekick which was hit by Paolo Caradaro. Luis Galarza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfonso Goicoechea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

In the 70th minute Benito Lluterio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pankracy Glogowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Aaron Gauargi came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Kalatakaya F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aaron Gauargi couldn't finish the play. In the 72nd match minute, Kalatakaya F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alejandro Chumacero to maneuver through the defense. Luis Galarza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mugur Chiriac, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. 80 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Atlanta's goal looked a bit too open when Benito Lluterio came free, but Pankracy Glogowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A sloppy throw-in by Emil Chwalkiewicz in the 86th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Kalatakaya F.C.'s Mateo Kovačić. 86 minutes into the match, Kalatakaya F.C.'s Benito Lluterio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pankracy Glogowski narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Kalatakaya F.C. were awarded a corner in the 88th minute after Club Atlético Atlanta's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Alejandro Chumacero took the corner. Moises Kelemen made in the 94th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Club Atlético Atlanta's Emil Chwalkiewicz. Club Atlético Atlanta were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
