Jacobo Urdin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Isaias Sazon in the 10th minute. Sajones F.C.'s Pastor Frantzes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guaberto Bitxintxo in the 18th minute of play. In the 37th minute Guaberto Bitxintxo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pastor Frantzes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Isaias Sazon's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jacobo Urdin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. Sajones F.C. were awarded a corner in the 40th minute after La Candela FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Fidel Macerio took the corner. Liu Liang Gang hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Damian Servando made a kick off. Pastor Frantzes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Laurenz Goddez in the 54th minute of play. In the 58th match minute, La Candela FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hu Han Han to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as La Candela FC's Daniel Borsos slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Pastor Frantzes. That made the score 0-3 after 87 minutes of play. In the 97th minute Sajones F.C. were awarded a corner. Hugo Raitin went to the cornerflag to take it. La Candela FC played a much better game than Sajones F.C. and deserved their victory. The Sajones F.C. players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
