Eliseo Claude might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lee Kerr. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eliseo Claude ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 24th minute the ball was on its way in behind Clapham Comets F.C.'s goalkeeper Lee Kerr, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 26th minute Sajones F.C. were awarded a corner. Fidel Macerio went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Sajones F.C.'s corner Halil Niğdeli fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Lee Kerr quite easily take care of the ball. After a rather tough play, Clapham Comets F.C.'s Ashley Gardiner got a free kick in the 27th minute. Lee Kerr showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isaias Sazon, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Paijo Prima kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Pastor Frantzes. That made the score 2-0 in the 34 minute of play. A sloppy throw-in by Brendon Bale in the 41st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Sajones F.C.'s Fidel Macerio. Shaun Purkiss's late challenge caught a Sajones F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Shaun Purkiss helped the player get up and apologised. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 45th minute of the game. One of Clapham Comets F.C.:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Sajones F.C.:s goal. Lee Kerr had in the 47thth minute some difficulties stopping Fidel Macerio's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cumhur Tanacan was the one to do the kick off. Lee Kerr made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isaias Sazon in the 55th minute of play. Fitz Hubbard kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. In the 64th minute, Barrie Newell got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sajones F.C. made a substitution. Conrad Airpoel replaced Roger Junior. Pastor Frantzes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Barrie Newell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 70 minutes into the match, Clapham Comets F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Conrad Airpoel came free, but Lee Kerr reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hugo Raitin in the 75th minute of play forced Clapham Comets F.C.'s goalkeeper Lee Kerr to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
