In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind ARES FC DeusDeFutbol's goalkeeper Willian Cuesta, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Willian Cuesta was out of position in the 19 minute of play, and Barrie Newell capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Barrie Newell really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cumhur Tanacan got free with Willian Cuesta in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Otsando Fierro in the 25th minute of play forced Clapham Comets F.C.'s goalkeeper Lee Kerr to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
