Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Uriel Ihintza made the kick off which started today's match. After a defensive mix-up in Mechita F.C's zone, Felipe Segio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Herminio Lastur came out of the goal and Felipe Segio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 8 minutes into the match, Feliberto Gergori notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Mechita F.C's Herminio Lastur. Herminio Lastur was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Herminio Lastur took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Feliberto Gergori, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Felipe Segio came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Tala fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Felipe Segio couldn't finish the play. Herminio Lastur showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Feliberto Gergori in the 24th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Mechita F.C's Sergio Aballe got a free kick in the 25th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Feliberto Gergori in the 26th minute of play forced Mechita F.C's goalkeeper Herminio Lastur to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Felipe Segio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 41st minute, Mechita F.C's Uriel Ihintza ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Bernardino Chuan. Bernardino Chuan yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. A collision led to Mechita F.C getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Sergio Aballe hit a great ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
Herminio Lastur showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felipe Segio in the 54th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Tala's Feliberto Gergori got a free kick in the 55th minute. Herminio Lastur didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Feliberto Gergori went, in the 58th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Herminio Lastur made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felipe Segio in the 64th minute of play. In the 65th minute of the match Tala got a corner. Mechita F.C's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Felipe Segio ran over to the corner to take the kick. Tala's Felipe Segio was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Herminio Lastur in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felipe Segio in the 75th minute of play forced Mechita F.C's goalkeeper Herminio Lastur to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tala's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Felipe Segio in the 76th minute. A collision led to Tala getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Guido Guillem hit a great ball. Feliberto Gergori received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Herminio Lastur tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Through an outstanding action, after 83 minutes, Herminio Lastur successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Herminio Lastur made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Feliberto Gergori sent off a good shot on target. Tala played a much better game than Mechita F.C and deserved their victory. The Mechita F.C players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
