The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the match, ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆'s Saturnino Romo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bonifacio Baumer narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Bonifacio Baumer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Saturnino Romo in the 10th minute of the match. Godofredo Tiadoro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Oliverio Kahn having to make a save. Oliverio Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Godofredo Tiadoro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 15th match minute, ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dedê Donatello to maneuver through the defense. Godofredo Tiadoro might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Oliverio Kahn. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Godofredo Tiadoro ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆'s goalkeeper Oliverio Kahn, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆'s zone, Godofredo Tiadoro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Oliverio Kahn came out of the goal and Godofredo Tiadoro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆'s Oliverio Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alejo Marz in the 24th minute of play. After 28 played minutes ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆ got a freekick which was hit by Saturnino Romo. After a defensive mix-up in Enhebrator FC's zone, Saturnino Romo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bonifacio Baumer came out of the goal and Saturnino Romo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 34 minutes into the match, Saturnino Romo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Bonifacio Baumer, 1-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Godofredo Tiadoro to make the kick off. Enhebrator FC's Dries van Veldhuizen was substituted for Godofredo Tiadoro. Morgan Karlberg made in the 57th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Carlos Calvet. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dries van Veldhuizen got free with Oliverio Kahn in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 63rd minute Dries van Veldhuizen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oliverio Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Oliverio Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dries van Veldhuizen, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Yang Hui Wen hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆ made a substitution. Marciano Lope replaced Luis Frisco. ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆'s Leo Bikendi was substituted for Ezequiel Lavezzi. In the 70th minute, Yang Hui Wen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Jerzy Marchefka managed to get in a good position for a shot. ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆'s supporters rose to their feet, but Jerzy Marchefka was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bonifacio Baumer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Yang Hui Wen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Oliverio Kahn made a huge save. 91 minutes into the match, ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆'s goal looked a bit too open when Dries van Veldhuizen came free, but Oliverio Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆ had won after a very even match.
