The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Edwin van der Sar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Godofredo Tiadoro in the 4th minute. 7 minutes into the match, Ｕｎｉãｏ Ｓｐｏｒｔ Ｃｌｕｂｅ Ｐａｒｅｄｅｓ's goalkeeper Edwin van der Sar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Godofredo Tiadoro. After 9 minutes Ｕｎｉãｏ Ｓｐｏｒｔ Ｃｌｕｂｅ Ｐａｒｅｄｅｓ's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Alejo Marz who took care of the corner kick. After 11 played minutes Enhebrator FC got a freekick which was hit by Jairo Hulberto. Ｕｎｉãｏ Ｓｐｏｒｔ Ｃｌｕｂｅ Ｐａｒｅｄｅｓ's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Piara Bue in the 13th minute. The corner led Ｕｎｉãｏ Ｓｐｏｒｔ Ｃｌｕｂｅ Ｐａｒｅｄｅｓ's Leukothoe Atsidakos to fire away a dangerous shot which Bonifacio Baumer despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 16 minutes into the match, Ｕｎｉãｏ Ｓｐｏｒｔ Ｃｌｕｂｅ Ｐａｒｅｄｅｓ's goalkeeper Edwin van der Sar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Godofredo Tiadoro. Edwin van der Sar made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Godofredo Tiadoro sent off a good shot on target. Enhebrator FC's Bonifacio Baumer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jerónimo Furtado in the 20th minute of play. Godofredo Tiadoro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Edwin van der Sar read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. In the 26th minute of the match Enhebrator FC got a corner. Ｕｎｉãｏ Ｓｐｏｒｔ Ｃｌｕｂｅ Ｐａｒｅｄｅｓ's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Alejo Marz ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ｕｎｉãｏ Ｓｐｏｒｔ Ｃｌｕｂｅ Ｐａｒｅｄｅｓ's goalkeeper Edwin van der Sar, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 30th minute of the match Enhebrator FC got a corner. Edwin van der Sar made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Godofredo Tiadoro sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, Ｕｎｉãｏ Ｓｐｏｒｔ Ｃｌｕｂｅ Ｐａｒｅｄｅｓ's Edwin van der Sar got control of the ball when Godofredo Tiadoro tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 47 minutes Ｕｎｉãｏ Ｓｐｏｒｔ Ｃｌｕｂｅ Ｐａｒｅｄｅｓ's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Alejo Marz who took care of the corner kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Ramiro Funes Mori heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. The Enhebrator FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ｕｎｉãｏ Ｓｐｏｒｔ Ｃｌｕｂｅ Ｐａｒｅｄｅｓ were winning 0-1.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Godofredo Tiadoro made a kick off. Through an outstanding action, after 53 minutes, Bonifacio Baumer successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Edwin van der Sar stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Godofredo Tiadoro's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. Bonifacio Baumer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jerónimo Furtado in the 58th minute of play. In the 61st minute Godofredo Tiadoro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edwin van der Sar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 64 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ｕｎｉãｏ Ｓｐｏｒｔ Ｃｌｕｂｅ Ｐａｒｅｄｅｓ's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Dries van Veldhuizen was slow to take the kick. During this time Enhebrator FC's players had a chance to rest. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jerónimo Furtado in the 65th minute of play forced Enhebrator FC's goalkeeper Bonifacio Baumer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bonifacio Baumer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jerónimo Furtado, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Jerónimo Furtado received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Bonifacio Baumer came out and tried to block the shot, but Jerónimo Furtado slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 69th minute. Ｕｎｉãｏ Ｓｐｏｒｔ Ｃｌｕｂｅ Ｐａｒｅｄｅｓ's Edwin van der Sar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Calvet in the 82nd minute of play. In the 85th minute Horia Taşcu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bonifacio Baumer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edwin van der Sar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 91 minutes into the match, Ｕｎｉãｏ Ｓｐｏｒｔ Ｃｌｕｂｅ Ｐａｒｅｄｅｓ's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Calvet came free, but Edwin van der Sar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jerónimo Furtado in the 96th minute of play forced Enhebrator FC's goalkeeper Bonifacio Baumer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Ｕｎｉãｏ Ｓｐｏｒｔ Ｃｌｕｂｅ Ｐａｒｅｄｅｓ had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
