Saturnino Romo started the match with the kick off. In the 4th minute Marcial Roldanillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oliverio Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Oliverio Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Agustin Silvino in the 5th minute of the match. After 6 minutes ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Victorio Hondo who took care of the corner kick. Pincha FC's Rodrigo Mendebal was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Oliverio Kahn in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Oliverio Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcial Roldanillo in the 8th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcial Roldanillo in the 10th minute of play forced ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆'s goalkeeper Oliverio Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carlos Quentin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Saturnino Romo in the 13th minute. A collision led to Pincha FC getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Ramon-Angel Sadurni hit a great ball. Pincha FC's attentive Ramon-Angel Sadurni managed to snatch the ball when Tudor Hurezeanu made a throw-in in the 16th minute of the game. After 17 played minutes ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆ got a freekick which was hit by Renatinho Diamant. ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆'s Oliverio Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcial Roldanillo in the 18th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Saturnino Romo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Carlos Quentin. That made the score 1-0 in the 21 minute of play. Saturnino Romos short, quick shot in the 25thth minute got Carlos Quentin to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 37th minute, Saturnino Romo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Carlos Quentin. The goal made the score 2-0. Oliverio Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcial Roldanillo in the 40th minute of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Marcial Roldanillo to strike the kick off in the second half. After having played for 58 minutes, Saturnino Romo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Saturnino Romo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Pincha FC's Björn Lundin got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Tobias Xacintu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Carlos Quentin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mats Liljeström in the 70th minute of play. In the 84th minute Agustin Silvino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oliverio Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carlos Quentin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Saturnino Romo in the 95th minute of the match. 95 minutes into the game, Victorio Hondo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pincha FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆ the free kick. Victorio Hondo kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. Pincha FC made a substitution. Darren McDonald replaced Everardo Garaile. ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆'s Jerzy Marchefka was substituted for Saturnino Romo. ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆'s Leo Bikendi was substituted for Tudor Hurezeanu.
