Heinz-Gerd Bonin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ovidiu Poenaru in the 6th minute of play. After 7 minutes 1.FC Aufbau-Einsturz's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Kai Baumbach who took care of the corner kick. 13 minutes into the match, 1.FC Aufbau-Einsturz's goal looked a bit too open when Ovidiu Poenaru came free, but Heinz-Gerd Bonin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kai Baumbach made a great header on DJK Füchtel Vechta's corner, it was just that 1.FC Aufbau-Einsturz's Heinz-Gerd Bonin managed to reach the ball for a save. Heinz-Gerd Bonin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ovidiu Poenaru in the 16th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matti Erkiner in the 19th minute of play forced DJK Füchtel Vechta's goalkeeper Gerold Zollt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 25 minutes, Matti Erkiner put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Gerold Zollt. 1.FC Aufbau-Einsturz's Theo Ljucovic got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, DJK Füchtel Vechta's Gerold Zollt got control of the ball when Theo Ljucovic tried to sneak it across the goal line. DJK Füchtel Vechta's Gerold Zollt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matti Erkiner in the 38th minute of play. The supporters of DJK Füchtel Vechta booed when 1.FC Aufbau-Einsturz was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Egon Künkler didn't get a good kick on the ball. 45 minutes into the match, DJK Füchtel Vechta's Kai Baumbach sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Heinz-Gerd Bonin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 46th minute, Andras Gafus got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ovidiu Poenaru to strike the kick off in the second half. 1.FC Aufbau-Einsturz's Heinz-Gerd Bonin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matthieu Richardot in the 54th minute of play. 55 minutes into the match, DJK Füchtel Vechta's goal looked a bit too open when Matti Erkiner came free, but Gerold Zollt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Heinz-Gerd Bonin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matthieu Richardot in the 58th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Lennie Sagel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Heinz-Gerd Bonin was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. Gerold Zollt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcus Willmann in the 76th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Theo Ljucovic in the 77th minute of play forced DJK Füchtel Vechta's goalkeeper Gerold Zollt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Matthieu Richardot scored 1-1 in the 83rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Heinz-Gerd Bonin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ovidiu Poenaru took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Heinz-Gerd Bonin. Heinz-Gerd Bonin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Theo Ljucovic struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Gerold Zollt didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for 1.FC Aufbau-Einsturz. Gerold Zollt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcus Willmann, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. The audience was convinced that Matthieu Richardot's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Heinz-Gerd Bonin was relentless in the 96th minute of the game. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. DJK Füchtel Vechta walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
