Hipolito Tono was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Hipolito Tono took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bektaş Veli Ülgü, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 22nd match minute, Hozat was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Necaettin Egelioğlu to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 38 minutes, Sulo Montaña managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. LOI's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sulo Montaña was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Hozat's Sezen Salman slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of George Buturugã. That made the score 1-2 after 40 minutes of play. In the 43rd minute Özgür Özbay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hipolito Tono saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sulo Montaña might have been able to make a better finish in the 44th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hipolito Tono. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sulo Montaña ran back to his position shaking his head. Hipolito Tono showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Özgür Özbay in the 45th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sulo Montaña stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Necaettin Egelioğlu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 52 minutes into the match, LOI's Özgür Özbay sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hipolito Tono narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ahmet Hamdi Ortan took the corner. In the 62nd minute Sulo Montaña shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hipolito Tono saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Hozat getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Necaettin Egelioğlu hit a great ball. If Sulo Montaña had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Özgür Özbay got free with Hipolito Tono in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Hipolito Tono made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sulo Montaña in the 67th minute of play. Sulo Montaña succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-5 in the 76th playminute. LOI made a substitution. Tayyip Taylan replaced Ahmet Hamdi Ortan. Hipolito Tono showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kerimhan Cevher in the 81st minute of the match. In the 83rd minute, Sulo Montaña ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hipolito Tono was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-6. Ulaş Niğdeli hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Özgür Özbay took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hipolito Tono. Hipolito Tono dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-8. 94 minutes into the match, Hozat's goal looked a bit too open when Özgür Özbay came free, but Hipolito Tono reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 94th minute Özgür Özbay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hipolito Tono saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 95th minute of the match, Sulo Montaña got a very nice opportunity to score, but Hipolito Tono was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. When the final whistle sounded LOI left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Hozat.
