The Last Airbender's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cx AY YILDIZ T.I.M. Cx the free kick. In the 43rd minute, Adil Alan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Colombain Parham took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cemal Özgun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Last Airbender's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Hakkı Kenan Ayçetin in the 48th minute. The corner led to The Last Airbender's Özdemir Yalçın getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Oswaldo Trigo made the kick off in the second half. If Cemal Özgun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 57 minutes, Sylvain Ransom managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cx AY YILDIZ T.I.M. Cx's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sylvain Ransom was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
