With a little luck, Cappadocia FC's Oğuzhan Er got control of the ball when Diego Armando Santirso tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Diego Armando Santirso kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Oğuzhan Er. That made the score 4-0 in the 16 minute of play. Oğuzhan Er made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Kıvanç Balyemez sent off a good shot on target. Bülent Birdal charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Diego Armando Santirso came free with the goalkeeper in the 26th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Oğuzhan Er could save by the left post. Arnoldo Leicea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Naim Ökmen in the 31st minute of play. After some careless play in the Cappadocia FC defense, Valentin Rydberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Oğuzhan Er. The Cappadocia FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Oğuzhan Er should have stopped the shot. In the 35th match minute, Cappadocia FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ahmet Gökalp Ülker to maneuver through the defense. In the 36th minute, Sarper Cesman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Oğuzhan Er showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valentin Rydberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Diego Armando Santirso in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Oğuzhan Er prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Valentin Rydberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Oğuzhan Er was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. After 95 played minutes Cappadocia FC got a freekick which was hit by Ahmet Gökalp Ülker. MarineerS FK's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
