An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabio Mancinelli in the 8th minute of play forced Fc Kangal™SİVAS 89's goalkeeper Sezai Doğan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fc Kangal™SİVAS 89's Sezai Doğan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabio Mancinelli in the 10th minute of play. Fc Kangal™SİVAS 89's Eilif Rosholm got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 25th minute Eilif Rosholm shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Atay Türegün saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 27 minutes had been played when some careless play by MegaFenerbahce's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Hıdır Akdoğan was slow to take the kick. During this time Fc Kangal™SİVAS 89's players had a chance to rest. In the 35th minute Abidin Camcı shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Atay Türegün saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 36 minutes into the match, Fc Kangal™SİVAS 89's goal looked a bit too open when Gazi Arıcan came free, but Sezai Doğan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 37 minutes into the match, 顾义远 notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Fc Kangal™SİVAS 89's Sezai Doğan. Sezai Doğan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Sezai Doğan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from 顾义远 went, in the 47th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eilif Rosholm was the one to do the kick off. Eilif Rosholm fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Atay Türegün having to interfere. Atay Türegün showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abidin Camcı in the 58th minute of the match. After 59 minutes MegaFenerbahce's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Hıdır Akdoğan who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Fc Kangal™SİVAS 89's Hıdır Akdoğan to fire away a dangerous shot which Atay Türegün despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. A collision led to MegaFenerbahce getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Bengt-Åke Fransson hit a great ball. After 73 played minutes MegaFenerbahce got a freekick which was hit by Bengt-Åke Fransson. Sezai Doğan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gazi Arıcan in the 89th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in MegaFenerbahce's zone, Abidin Camcı stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Atay Türegün came out of the goal and Abidin Camcı tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 94th minute of the match, Onur Türkoğlu tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Sezai Doğan saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The MegaFenerbahce players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
