Youri Maguet was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Youri Maguet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Czeslaw Domeracki in the 19th minute of play. In the 20th minute Czeslaw Domeracki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Youri Maguet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 22nd minute of the match Olympique Gdynia got a corner. FC Kadzidlowen's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Fabio-Roman Zabaleta ran over to the corner to take the kick. It was a well-played corner which Tirso Isasaga managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. In the 24th minute Czeslaw Domeracki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Youri Maguet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to FC Kadzidlowen getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Bernie Gauthier hit a great ball. FC Kadzidlowen's Youri Maguet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Czeslaw Domeracki in the 29th minute of play. Tomás Urbistondo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tanek Ostrowski having to interfere. Remigiusz Dylla hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Youri Maguet showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Czeslaw Domeracki, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Czeslaw Domeracki to make the kick off. With a little luck, FC Kadzidlowen's Youri Maguet got control of the ball when Czeslaw Domeracki tried to sneak it across the goal line. Youri Maguet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabio-Roman Zabaleta in the 53rd minute of the match. If Tomás Urbistondo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Bernie Gauthier charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bernie Gauthier the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to FC Kadzidlowen getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Ziemowit Puchlik was slow to take the kick. During this time FC Kadzidlowen's players had a chance to rest. FC Kadzidlowen were awarded a corner in the 69th minute after Olympique Gdynia's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ziemowit Puchlik took the corner. FC Kadzidlowen's Ziemowit Puchlik was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Tanek Ostrowski in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Youri Maguet stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Şota Arveladze's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. With a little luck, FC Kadzidlowen's Youri Maguet got control of the ball when Şota Arveladze tried to sneak it across the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 77 minutes, Youri Maguet successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Youri Maguet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Czeslaw Domeracki in the 81st minute of the match. The Olympique Gdynia fans' excitement grew in the 81st match minute when Olympique Gdynia's Czeslaw Domeracki looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. An unexpectedly hard shot by Şota Arveladze in the 94th minute of play forced FC Kadzidlowen's goalkeeper Youri Maguet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Olympique Gdynia's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
