Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Robert Doicaru in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ryszard Japola prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Rolf King came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Zgierskie Zlewy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rolf King couldn't finish the play. Jerzy Nowak had several of the Zgierskie Zlewy's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 28 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-1 score and a disappointed Karol Ruszkowski as he didn't even see the shot coming. Ryszard Japola was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Barnaba Bazylnikov showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-5 in the 97 minute of play. Zgierskie Zlewy's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
