Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Fabian Czeszejko took the kick off in the first half of the match. When Paolo Cucao came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the KOLEJORZ POZNAŃ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Paolo Cucao couldn't finish the play. Tolek Kiszkiel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vincent Van Gogh, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Panda Komando hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Fabian Czeszejko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 27 minutes into the match, KOLEJORZ POZNAŃ's goal looked a bit too open when Fabian Czeszejko came free, but Filipe Meireles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fabian Czeszejko's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Filipe Meireles read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. The supporters of KOLEJORZ POZNAŃ booed when Olimpia HSB was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leon Piekarczyk didn't get a good kick on the ball. KOLEJORZ POZNAŃ's Filipe Meireles proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save KOLEJORZ POZNAŃ from getting a goal against them. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind KOLEJORZ POZNAŃ's goalkeeper Filipe Meireles, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. KOLEJORZ POZNAŃ's Filipe Meireles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nikola Mirotić in the 37th minute of play. Fernando Morientes kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. After 41 played minutes Olimpia HSB got a freekick which was hit by Leon Piekarczyk. Tolek Kiszkiel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vincent Van Gogh in the 43rd minute of play. KOLEJORZ POZNAŃ's Filipe Meireles proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save KOLEJORZ POZNAŃ from getting a goal against them. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.
A nice corner shot did that Fernando Morientes got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Filipe Meireles quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Tolek Kiszkiel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Agustin Lain in the 55th minute of play. A throw-in in the 59th minute of the game was made by Aleksander Kalinowski with Zula Adamowicz as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. In the 67th minute, Agustin Lain hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tolek Kiszkiel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vincent Van Gogh in the 71st minute of the match. KOLEJORZ POZNAŃ's Filipe Meireles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabian Czeszejko in the 73rd minute of play. Tolek Kiszkiel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paolo Cucao in the 77th minute of play. KOLEJORZ POZNAŃ's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Lech Frankowski in the 79th minute. KOLEJORZ POZNAŃ's Lech Frankowski was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Tolek Kiszkiel in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 81st minute, Jacek Pietrowiak left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Olimpia HSB fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. After some careless play in the KOLEJORZ POZNAŃ defense, Jacek Pietrowiak kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Filipe Meireles. The KOLEJORZ POZNAŃ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Filipe Meireles should have stopped the shot. Fernando Morientes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 89 played minutes KOLEJORZ POZNAŃ got a freekick which was hit by Mariusz Urban. In the 89th minute Jacek Pietrowiak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filipe Meireles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Olimpia HSB getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Wilfredo Vellito hit a great ball. When the referee ended the match the Olimpia HSB players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
