In the 19th minute, Fabian Czeszejko made a precise shot to the right of Mariusz Pochorylo. KS Greenpi's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind KS Greenpi's goalkeeper Mariusz Pochorylo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the match clock showed 28 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Fabian Czeszejko sped through KS Greenpi's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Mariusz Pochorylo. Deng Kang Kang fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tolek Kiszkiel having to interfere. Mariusz Pochorylo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabian Czeszejko in the 34th minute of play. Olimpia HSB were awarded a corner in the 35th minute after KS Greenpi's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Fernando Morientes took the corner. The corner ended in Calito Izquierdoz almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but KS Greenpi's Mariusz Pochorylo did a great save. Deng Kang Kang received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Tolek Kiszkiel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mariusz Pochorylo came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by Olimpia HSB's Fabian Czeszejko. But to his dismay, Fabian Czeszejko quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. 43 minutes into the match, Olimpia HSB's goal looked a bit too open when Christof Cartus came free, but Tolek Kiszkiel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Olimpia HSB getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Sixto Yanguas hit a great ball. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Mariusz Pochorylo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabian Czeszejko, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Jacek Pietrowiak blasted a shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mariusz Pochorylo having to make a save. 94 minutes into the game, Olimpia HSB's Jacek Pietrowiak nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot.
