Śląsk Bytom's Antoni Brama played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yavuzalp Mesut in the 15th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Yavuzalp Mesut managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sielce Warszawa's supporters rose to their feet, but Yavuzalp Mesut was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Antoni Brama breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 25 minutes into the match, Śląsk Bytom's Ulryk Miazga sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Christian Abbiati narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Janusz Haskiewicz made a kick off. In the 54thth minute of the game Yavuzalp Mesut who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Śląsk Bytom's Antoni Brama was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 95th match minute, Sielce Warszawa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pawel Wojtala to maneuver through the defense. After 96 played minutes, Śląsk Bytom's Hakkı Elçin shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Christian Abbiati came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Śląsk Bytom reached it. Sielce Warszawa's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
