Śląsk Bytom's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ulryk Miazga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ulryk Miazga's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Daniel Kieca firmly grabbed it by the left post. Maciej Wietz got a throw-in 8 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Carlo Monni. After a rather tough play, Śląsk Bytom's Maciej Wietz got a free kick in the 10th minute. In the 11th minute of the match Edward Traczewski sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Antoni Brama skillfully saved the ball. After 13 played minutes Śląsk Bytom got a freekick which was hit by Tymoteusz Dunajski. Antoni Brama made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edward Traczewski in the 14th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ulryk Miazga got free with Daniel Kieca in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 19 minutes Russówek's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Sivert Eliasson who took care of the corner kick. Maciej Wietz made in the 24th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Carlo Monni immediately put the ball in play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gregorio Montez in the 30th minute of play forced Śląsk Bytom's goalkeeper Antoni Brama to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 32 played minutes Śląsk Bytom got a freekick which was hit by Maciej Wietz. 35 minutes into the match, Śląsk Bytom's goal looked a bit too open when Gregorio Montez came free, but Antoni Brama reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Śląsk Bytom getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Maciej Wietz hit a great ball. A collision led to Śląsk Bytom getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Kazimierz Ewertowski hit a great ball. Antoni Brama took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edward Traczewski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 42 minutes of play, Russówek's Gregorio Montez made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Antoni Brama was left in no man's land by his defense there! A hard shot 47 in the game by Carlo Monni from a close distance when the talented Daniel Kieca managed to make a qualified save. Russówek's players were relieved.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gregorio Montez was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Śląsk Bytom's goalkeeper Antoni Brama, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 54 minutes, Carlo Monni put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Daniel Kieca. When Carlo Monni came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Śląsk Bytom fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carlo Monni couldn't finish the play. Śląsk Bytom's Hakkı Elçin was substituted for Carlo Monni. After a rather tough play, Śląsk Bytom's Kazimierz Ewertowski got a free kick in the 62nd minute. In the 63rd minute, Kazimierz Ewertowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Edward Traczewski struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Antoni Brama didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Russówek. Maciej Wietz made in the 71st minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Daniel Garcia. Daniel Kieca stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hakkı Elçin's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. Antoni Brama made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jakub Gdowski in the 77th minute of play. Hakkı Elçin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Kieca having to interfere. Russówek's Ryszard Skonieczny was substituted for Salvador Quezada. Śląsk Bytom's Antoni Brama played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ryszard Skonieczny in the 82nd minute of play. 88 minutes into the game, Śląsk Bytom's Ulryk Miazga nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Daniel Kieca made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Antoni Brama showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ryszard Skonieczny in the 91st minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Śląsk Bytom's zone, Ryszard Skonieczny stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Antoni Brama came out of the goal and Ryszard Skonieczny tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 95th minute Hakkı Elçin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Kieca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Daniel Kieca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hakkı Elçin, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. Śląsk Bytom were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Russówek for a fine match.
