The corner was taken by Mariusz Kaleta in the 9th minute. In the 13th minute KN ZGORZELEC were awarded a corner. Mariusz Kaleta went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led KN ZGORZELEC's Mariusz Kaleta to fire away a dangerous shot which Niculae Romanescu despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marco van Basten got free with Emilio Shepherd in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When KN ZGORZELEC's Natalio Guter in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ireneusz Jeleń in the 29th minute of play forced KN ZGORZELEC's goalkeeper Emilio Shepherd to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. CWKS KĘDZIERZYN were awarded a corner in the 30th minute after KN ZGORZELEC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Kamilo Glik took the corner. 32 minutes into the game, Natalio Guter cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Niculae Romanescu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 36th minute, Natalio Guter ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Niculae Romanescu was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. In the 39th minute Natalio Guter shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Niculae Romanescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 42 minutes into the match, KN ZGORZELEC's goal looked a bit too open when Michaël Guillot came free, but Emilio Shepherd reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jacek Bąk kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ireneusz Jeleń was the one to do the kick off. Ireneusz Jeleń took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Emilio Shepherd. Emilio Shepherd dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. After a defensive mix-up in CWKS KĘDZIERZYN's zone, Natalio Guter stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Niculae Romanescu came out of the goal and Natalio Guter tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 68 played minutes KN ZGORZELEC's Mariusz Kaleta stole the ball from his opponents and shot the ball towards the upper left corner, but Niculae Romanescu stretched himself as far as he could, and stopped the ball from passing the line. robbing CWKS KĘDZIERZYN of the goal. KN ZGORZELEC's Emilio Shepherd played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marco van Basten in the 70th minute of play. If Natalio Guter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Through an outstanding action, after 76 minutes, Niculae Romanescu successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 81 minutes into the match, KN ZGORZELEC's Natalio Guter sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Niculae Romanescu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 82 minutes CWKS KĘDZIERZYN's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Mariusz Kaleta who took care of the corner kick. Emilio Shepherd came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by CWKS KĘDZIERZYN's Marco van Basten. But to his dismay, Marco van Basten quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-3. The supporters of KN ZGORZELEC booed when CWKS KĘDZIERZYN was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lukasz Haszczak didn't get a good kick on the ball. Natalio Guter was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 89th minute. KN ZGORZELEC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Emilio Shepherd showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Velimir Bostandzhiev, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. CWKS KĘDZIERZYN's Niculae Romanescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Natalio Guter in the 97th minute of play. KN ZGORZELEC succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though CWKS KĘDZIERZYN had controlled the match.
