Wittbach SSA's Ján Oblak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marco van Basten in the 16th minute of play. Ted Lasso in the 18thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Niculae Romanescu, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ted Lasso in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Niculae Romanescu saved CWKS KĘDZIERZYN from getting behind. Ján Oblak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marco van Basten, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Niculae Romanescu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ted Lasso in the 31st minute. Borys Kolba blasted a shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Niculae Romanescu having to make a save. Niculae Romanescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Borys Kolba, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. 38 minutes into the match, Wittbach SSA's goal looked a bit too open when Ireneusz Jeleń came free, but Ján Oblak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 40 minutes had been played when some careless play by Wittbach SSA's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Kamilo Glik was slow to take the kick. During this time CWKS KĘDZIERZYN's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Michaël Guillot almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Wittbach SSA's Ján Oblak did a great save. In the 41st minute, Klement Makarewicz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Grzegorz Motowski managed to get in a good position for a shot. Wittbach SSA's supporters rose to their feet, but Grzegorz Motowski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Niculae Romanescu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Marco van Basten's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Ján Oblak firmly grabbed it by the left post. Marco van Basten came free with the goalkeeper in the 56th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Ján Oblak could save by the left post. Wittbach SSA's Ján Oblak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Michaël Guillot in the 57th minute of play. Mateusz Klich could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Ján Oblak made a huge save. In the 69th minute, Ted Lasso ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Niculae Romanescu was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. CWKS KĘDZIERZYN's Paulo José de Carvalho was substituted for Lucas Mancheño. Ján Oblak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robertas Lewandowski in the 76th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Wittbach SSA's Jedrzej Ikalewicz got a free kick in the 77th minute. Roberto Ayala hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. The supporters of CWKS KĘDZIERZYN booed when Wittbach SSA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Feng Xiang Yun didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Wittbach SSA defense, Robertas Lewandowski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ján Oblak. The Wittbach SSA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ján Oblak should have stopped the shot. If Szymon Pyrzyce had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 86 minutes into the match, Wittbach SSA's goal looked a bit too open when Robertas Lewandowski came free, but Ján Oblak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 88 minutes into the match, CWKS KĘDZIERZYN's goal looked a bit too open when Borys Kolba came free, but Niculae Romanescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 90th minute Ted Lasso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Niculae Romanescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Niculae Romanescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Borys Kolba, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 3-1 became the score in the 91st minute when Borys Kolba elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Niculae Romanescu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Grzegorz Motowski went, in the 94th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. CWKS KĘDZIERZYN's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
