After having played for 44 minutes, Borys Kolba managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Wittbach SSA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Borys Kolba was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ter Stegen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jedrzej Ikalewicz in the 98th minute of the match. Wittbach SSA played a much better game than 1948 MKS and deserved their victory. The 1948 MKS players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
