KN ZGORZELEC's Emilio Shepherd proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to save KN ZGORZELEC from getting a goal against them. Robert van der Aa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emilio Shepherd having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wessel Bos in the 13th minute of play forced Bears are Back's goalkeeper Jan Faust to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 15 minutes into the match, KN ZGORZELEC's goalkeeper Emilio Shepherd had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Oden Vandamme. Wessel Bos scored 0-1 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jan Faust, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Bears are Back's Oden Vandamme in the 24th minute got a chance for a shot 24th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye KN ZGORZELEC's goalie prevented a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Bears are Back's zone, Emiliano Felice stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 31 minutes into the match, Oden Vandamme dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Emilio Shepherd, 1-1. Emilio Shepherd stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Oden Vandamme's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. Bears are Back's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Cezary Adamowicz in the 40th minute. Robert van der Aa was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. 47 minutes into the match, Bears are Back's goal looked a bit too open when Wessel Bos came free, but Jan Faust reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Oden Vandamme to strike the kick off in the second half. When Bears are Back's Oden Vandamme in the 53rd minute got a chance for a shot 53rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Jan Faust tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 61 minutes into the match, Bears are Back's goal looked a bit too open when Kazimierz Chrobak came free, but Jan Faust reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 62nd minute Kazimierz Chrobak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan Faust saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jan Faust stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kazimierz Chrobak's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. Jan Faust showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Borys Karaszkiewicz, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. KN ZGORZELEC's Kazimierz Chrobak was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 66th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Bartosz Niemojewski charged in rather forcefully in the 70th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bartosz Niemojewski the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 70th match minute, Bears are Back was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bartosz Niemojewski to maneuver through the defense. After 79 minutes, Kazimierz Chrobak made it 1-3 with a short kick to the right side. Bears are Back's Jan Faust tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Borys Karaszkiewicz got free with Jan Faust in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 92 minutes in the game Wessel Bos did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Gilbert Gotfryd. When the final whistle sounded KN ZGORZELEC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Bears are Back.
